Privacy policy

Browser time zone
The site reads your browser’s time-zone identifier to calculate local clock differences. This happens in your browser and the identifier is not required to be sent to GlobalTimeGuide’s server for the core clock tools.
External data requests
When you use holiday, weather or solar features, your browser may request data from Nager.Date or Open-Meteo. Those services receive normal network information such as your IP address as part of the request.
Analytics and advertising
The deployment package ships with analytics and AdSense identifiers blank. If analytics or advertising is enabled later, the applicable consent and advertising settings must be configured for the jurisdictions where the site is used.
Local storage
The site may use browser local storage for short-lived API caches and optional consent choices. This improves speed and reduces repeated network requests.
